I love the attention to detail that is put in on wardrobe, set design, even coding written on whiteboards. Matt Ross who plays Gavin Belson also directed this episode and he was great to work with. I love his sense because he understands both from the actor&#8217;s perspective and from the director&#8217;s perspective.. because he has done both! I always tell people that he also directed Captain Fantastic, a great film. I am often playing action roles because of my martial arts background, but working on Silicon Valley just reminded me how much fun it is to work on a comedy.
