In November of last year I did a photo shoot for a Beverly Hills art gallery exhibit<\/strong>. The theme was LA Samurai<\/strong>. In all straightforward-ness I usually do sports or action shoots. Sometimes I do commercial print shoots or editorial shoots, but never anything for an art gallery.<\/p>\n

The style was very “high-fashion” and at some points it really reminded me of derelict from Zoolander<\/a>. \u00a0We were turning all types of fabric and material into fashion. Fortunately I was in good hands. We shot at the beautiful studio of Gen Anderson<\/strong> and I was styled by the masterful Eugene Conde <\/strong>(www.eugeneconde.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

I met the lovely model\u00a0Ivy Teves<\/strong> who is also a WPT Royal Flush Girl<\/strong><\/a>. Here’s us doing blue steel. haha! She was cool\u00a0and a good sport\u00a0for helping me take a bunch\u00a0of behind the scenes photos.<\/p>\n

Photography<\/strong> and the whole shoot was produced by Robert Wilde<\/strong> (www.robertwildephoto.com<\/a>). I was skeptical of the shoot at first because Robert reached out to me seemingly out of the blue, but I’m glad I agreed to the shoot because it turned out great. He had a very\u00a0professional set up, attitude, wardrobe, stylist, everything… and the day of shooting was very fun.<\/p>\n
