Once Upon a Time in China\u00a0<\/strong>Wong Fei<\/b>–hung<\/b>\u00a0(9 July 1847 \u2014 25 March 1924) was a Chinese martial artist, physician, acupuncturist, and revolutionary, who became a folk hero and the subject of numerous films and television series. He is considered an expert in the\u00a0Hung\u00a0Gar<\/strong> style of Chinese martial arts<\/strong>.\u00a0As a physician, Wong practised and taught acupuncture and other forms of traditional Chinese medicine in\u00a0Po-chi-lam\u00a0(\u5b9d\u829d\u6797)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Chinese folk hero has been played by Jackie Chan<\/strong>, Jet Li<\/strong>, and Vincent Zhao<\/strong> on screen in Chinese martial arts feature films.<\/p>\n
