How I Got to Work on Ready Player One

Ready Player One came out March 2018 and was an international box office success. It did especially well in China as well. It has made over 582 million and is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

How did I come to be part of this project?

I just finished a shoot in Asia when I was asked to send an audition tape for a guy who gets hit in a VR game. I had no idea at first that it was a Steven Spielberg film. This is what I sent in.

 

And ultimately I got to work on Ready Player One. The first AD Adam Somner (The Revenant, Wolf of Wall Street, Birdman) had me improv some lines on set (I did this whole rant in Chinese) and Garrett Warren (Avatar, Logan, X-men) made sure the set was safe and that the action looked good.

It’s always a dream come true when you get to work on a great movie with amazing people.
