Laur and Alfred Review the Impossible Burger

The Impossible Burger Reviewed in LA with Laur Allen and Alfred Hsing.

In recent years I have been a huge fan of food and with that I have been seeking to get to know food in all forms. I have started to experiment more with cooking. I have sought out interesting restaurants and delicious looking food from all cultures. Well, when I had heard about THE IMPOSSIBLE BURGER, an all vegan burger that LOOKS and TASTES like MEAT I had to give it a try. Full disclosure, I do enjoy eating meat, but I have had my stint at being vegetarian and it was nice too. I prefer to eat healthy and have a balance between my protein and vegetables. I avoid soda and foods that are too greasy/oily. That’s my general flavor profile, but I don’t create any hard and fast rules.. and I’m always down to try new things!

Anyways, without further ado, here is our review!

We went to Crossroads Kitchen on Melrose, founded by chef Tal Ronnen who created this upscale vegan restaurant with a full bar that does not come across as a vegan restaurant but rather as a comfortable delicious food filled establishment.

Spoiler alert* we thought the burger tasted pretty good! Though as a $14 dollar burger it is on the pricier side, but I think it is a very unique burger. Everything is unique from the cheese to the patty and is definitely worth a try. The texture and taste very much resembles meat and it tastes healthy too!
